PC leader Heather Stefanson had a successful northern tour today, meeting with First Nations leaders.

“It’s great to be back in the North,” said Stefanson. “There is so much potential in this beautiful province—and so many ways we can work together with First Nations.”

Stefanson began the day in St. Theresa Point First Nation, meeting with Chief Elvin Flett and Council, as well as Chief Walter Harper of Wasagamack First Nation. She then made her way to Garden Hill First Nation to meet with Chief Charles Knott and Council.

“Our PC Team is fighting to make life better for northerners,” said PC candidate for Keewatinook Michael Birch. “We are the only party focused on northern development.”

Stefanson will visit Flin Flon and The Pas tomorrow.
