Josh Guenter

Borderland

Josh Guenter was elected on September 10, 2019, as the youngest-ever PC MLA at the age of 25. He was re-elected in 2023.

Josh was born in Altona and lives in the area with his wife Alicia and their young son Jackson. He has always felt a duty and obligation to serve and make a difference in people’s lives.

As a father, Josh knows that families in the area want an MLA who understands their concerns and will work to ensure Borderland can thrive as a place to live, work, invest, and raise a family.

He has been engaged in politics for a number of years and has played an active role in provincial as well as federal election campaigns. He studied at the University of Ottawa and the University of Manitoba, has worked on Parliament Hill, and has served the people of the region as a constituency assistant to local elected officials.

Josh continues serving the hard-working families of the Borderland constituency as a voice for lower taxes, further investments in infrastructure, and continued improvements to health care in Manitoba.
