Grant Jackson
Spruce Woods
Grant is a community leader and a tireless volunteer for multiple organizations. Born and raised in Souris, Grant received his Bachelor of Arts with Honours at Brandon University after graduating from Souris School.
Throughout his career, Grant worked for Larry Maguire, Member of Parliament for Brandon-Souris, both in Brandon and on Parliament Hill, gaining valuable experience at the federal level. Since 2020, Grant has been working at the Manitoba Legislature, supporting our Progressive Conservative Government on files in Justice, Families, Mental Health and Community Wellness, Environment and Climate and as Special Advisor to the Premier.
Grant calls Souris home and is actively involved in volunteering for the Souris Curling Club, the Western Manitoba Youth Choir and other community organizations. In his spare time, Grant enjoys curling, golf, baseball and choral music. He has also volunteered his time supporting the PC Party of Manitoba for over 10 years, serving as Vice-President Policy for Spruce Woods Constituency Association, and later as Regional Director for Southwest Manitoba on the PC Party of Manitoba Board.
By growing up in a tight-knit community, Grant knows the value of community and what it means to take care of neighbours. He understands firsthand the unique challenges that rural communities face. He also recognizes the tremendous potential for economic growth in rural Manitoba, so no one is left behind.
Grant is a champion of rural Manitoba. He is passionate about supporting Westman’s small businesses and entrepreneurs so they can expand and create new high paying jobs. He is also focused on seeking practical solutions to solve our healthcare challenges, grow our agricultural sector, and ensure the next generation can live, work, and raise their families right here in Western Manitoba.
