Lawrence Pinsky

Tuxedo

Lawrence Pinsky is a proud lawyer, advocate, community volunteer, father, and former basketball coach. Tuxedo has been Lawrence’s home for almost 20 years, where he and his wife have raised their three children.

Coming from humble beginnings, Lawrence’s family lived in a one-bedroom apartment on North Main Street when he was born. His father was a Holocaust survivor and his mother was the daughter of an immigrant blacksmith and farmer from Saskatchewan.

As a lawyer, Lawrence has been involved in legislative reform at both the provincial and federal levels. He founded the Family Law Arbitration Course to teach the next generation of family lawyers, has served on various community boards, and worked as pro bono counsel to university students who have been experiencing discrimination and harassment on their campus.
