Statement from PC Education Critic Grant Jackson on NDP Failure to Deliver Affordable Summer Daycare

WINNIPEG — Spruce Woods MLA Grant Jackson, PC Critic for Education and Early Childhood Learning, issued the following statement today on the NDP’s failure to deliver a plan for $10/day summer daycare:

“Today, Manitoba families were looking forward to the start of $10/day summer childcare—but the NDP broke their election promise and failed to roll out a plan.

“With the funding approved in this year’s budget, families deserve to know whether affordable childcare will be in place this summer and extended to non-school days for the coming school year.”
